Overview The Fall Detection Dataset is a commercial video dataset produced by the provider. It consists of 1,047 high-resolution videos of staged human falls recorded in controlled indoor and outdoor settings, including parking areas, rooms and corridors. It is designed for fall detection, computer vision research and public safety applications, and gives detection research teams a consistent base for training, evaluating and benchmarking detection systems and detection algorithms. All recordings were captured from static and moving camera perspectives at 1920×1080 resolution and 30 FPS. They span ~40–50 unique locations, and the subjects changed clothing every 10 videos to increase visual diversity. Dataset at a Glance 1. Total number of files: 1,047 videos 2.
