What the listing offers
- Listing mentions transcription, timestamps.
Timestamped transcripts of US local government meetings — city councils, county boards, school boards, and other public bodies — sourced directly from each government's own official meeting platform (Granicus, Swagit, CivicClerk, eScribe, IQM2, Cablecast, and others), never a third-party scrape. Every transcript segment carries a start/end timestamp in seconds. Where the government publishes its own captions, those are used directly; where it doesn't, transcripts are generated from the meeting audio — and every row says which (transcript_source), so a buyer always knows what they're getting. Each row is also language-tagged, so the small share of non-English meetings is never silently mixed in as English. Personal contact info (emails, phone numbers) is redacted before delivery. These are official recordings of public government meetings, published by the governments themselves as public record. Coverage today: 340 government tenants (328 distinct governments) across most US states, updated daily with a 14-day look-back so re-posted or corrected recordings are caught. Recent single-day runs have delivered 446–663 meetings, depending on the day's actual government activity. Delivery: daily drop of flat files (JSON Lines + gzipped transcript segments) via S3 — no API required, pulled on your own schedule.
